‘Animal Man’ delights Colney audience

Wednesday 10th September 2014

‘Animal Man’ Nick Spellman returned to GreenAcres Woodland Burials – Colney this weekend with his menagerie of animals and his unique educational show for children.

Loved by children and their families, this is the third consecutive year that Nick has appeared at our Norfolk park and, once again, he did not disappoint.  His animals included a chinchilla, tarantula, meerkat, owls and a snake.  The 80-strong audience of children and their families had the opportunity to touch the animals under his supervision and learn more about their habitats and characteristics.

Rachel Hogg, Marketing and Community Liaison for GreenAcres Woodland Burials comments, We were delighted to welcome Nick and his animals back to Colney for yet another wonderful show.”  Rachel continues, “It’s a great opportunity for children to learn in the beauty of our 12-acre woodland burial park.  Thank you to ‘Animal Man’ and all of the families who attended for making it such an enjoyable afternoon.”

The event raised funds for The Raptor Trust – a local charity who deal with the conservation and rehabilitation of owls and birds of prey.
