We are getting close to our monthly ‘wildlife watch’ posting, so keep checking for updates as we have had a busy month. In the mean-time, we have been taking pictures of our stunning Summer woodland, we have seen foxgloves, orchids, red campion and other flora across the park. Come and visit us, take the dog for a walk, or bring the kids for an adventure through the woods.
On the 5th of July we will be holding a ‘working woodland day’ on the 5th of July from 10:00am – 3:00pm, which is a free event with lot’s of fun activities for all to enjoy. Activities include, but are not limited to; archery, willow weaving, birds of prey, reptile displays, wooden whistle making, wood turning, flower displays, RSPB and Lancashire wildlife trust workshops.
If you want to find out more feel free to get in touch, look forward to seeing you all there.
